Role Summary

The Deputy Manager – Marketing is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing initiatives that enhance the mall's brand visibility, drive footfalls, strengthen customer engagement, and support revenue generation. The role involves managing promotions, events, CRM activities, strategic partnerships, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Promotions & Marketing

  • Plan and execute brand promotions, advertising campaigns, and cross-promotional activities.
  • Develop concepts, operational plans, and creative strategies for events and promotional campaigns.
  • Formulate marketing strategies, annual marketing plans, and marketing calendars aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive collaborative marketing initiatives and establish partnerships with retail partners and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient and timely documentation for all events and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.

Revenue Generation & Cost Control

  • Maximize revenue generation through Sponsorship on Hire (SOH) and Below-The-Line (BTL) activities.
  • Ensure timely collection of dues related to events and promotions.
  • Monitor costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Formulate and implement customer feedback mechanisms to assess the shopping experience.
  • Track and analyse customer feedback and contribute to overall operational improvements.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer complaints and concerns.

Reporting & Presentation

  • Prepare event closure reports, ROI analysis of events and promotions, and monthly marketing updates.
  • Ensure timely submission of MIS reports with a first-time-right approach and maintain accurate documentation.

Team Management, Support & Coordination

  • Provide effective guidance, training, and support to team members.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputed institute.

  • Strong marketing, event management, and brand promotion capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, budgeting, and project management abilities with a customer-centric approach.
