Role Summary
The Executive – Fire, Life & Security (FLS) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the mall by implementing fire and life safety measures, conducting audits and mock drills, monitoring security operations, and driving compliance with safety standards. The role also involves training agency staff, managing emergency preparedness initiatives, and ensuring smooth execution of security and safety processes across the mall.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Emergency Management
- Conduct mock drills, anti-terrorist drills, evacuation drills, and other emergency preparedness activities as per the approved calendar.
- Ensure implementation of disaster management protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to fire and life safety standards across the mall.
Audit & Compliance Management
- Conduct various audits as per the approved schedule and ensure timely closure of audit observations, including:
- Pump Room Audits
- Returnable Gate Pass Audits
- Kitchen Hood Cleaning Audits
- ETBS Management Audits
- Fire Alarm System (FAS) Audits
- Lift Audits
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with statutory and internal safety requirements.
Operations & Security Management
- Plan, monitor, and ensure execution of scheduled FLS activities.
- Oversee parking management and security operations.
- Manage frisking and gate pass processes.
- Develop and ensure adherence to operational checklists and standard operating procedures.
Training & Capability Building
- Conduct training programs for agency staff on:
- Disaster Management
- Call Signs
- Toolbox Trainings
- Fire Safety Trainings
- Evacuation Drill Trainings
- Build awareness and preparedness among security personnel and relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Fire & Safety, Security Management, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of fire and life safety systems, emergency response, and statutory compliance.
- Good planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong training, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
