Role Summary
The Assistant Manager – Technical is responsible for supporting the management of electrical operations, maintenance activities, projects, and compliance requirements within the mall. The role focuses on ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems, driving preventive maintenance initiatives, supporting project execution, and ensuring adherence to statutory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Operations & Maintenance
- Assist in managing the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and utilities.
- Supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure the availability of critical spare parts and maintain inventory control.
Project Management & Execution
- Support the planning and execution of electrical projects, upgrades, and installations.
- Manage contractors and vendors for maintenance and project-related activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and operational teams to minimize downtime and ensure seamless project execution.
Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain electrical drawings, documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
Energy Management & Continuous Improvement
- Support energy conservation initiatives and monitor power consumption.
- Assist in preparing maintenance schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
Required Qualifications
- B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical operations, maintenance, and technical management.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and power distribution systems (LT/HT).
- Experience in electrical project management, commissioning, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, and energy management initiatives.
